I just finished reading an article on OSNews.com about why people are not flocking to Linux. As usual it turned into an anti-Vista discussion. I will be the first to admit that I do not like Vista. I didn't like it before I ever got it. I do like Linux though, and I think more people would too if they would put as much effort into it as they do Windows. Blackbox & Litestep A comparison of two popular Alternate Shells for the Windows Environment If you know what an alternate shell is, then chances are that you are familiar with or a user of one of these two shells. Anybody that knows me knows that I have been a fanatical Litestep user for 5 or 6 years. It all started one night late at work when I was looking for the next great modification to my work PC. Yes sir, I need the next hot theme for my Desktop Architect. If you don't remember this app, it was 10 times better than Plus! for Windows98. I found a website named Customize.org. Now at the time, to me themes meant Desktop Architect. I saw a screenshot for a theme called Tek (I think). It was a very futuristic looking theme and I had to try it out.
